| The ACD DSP Sound Studio Platinum Edition makes use of Compact Disc Digital Audio technology for playing CD`s. It is intended for the sophisticated user and incorporates an advanced DSP (Digital Sound Processor) Module which consist of 7 subsections: Preamplification, Pitch Shifter, Delay, Phase Shifter, External Plugins, Graphic Equalizer, Master control and DSP Control. This system requires a high performance processor (Pentium II or III class, Celeron, AMD K6). The system has the capability to accept WinAmp 1.x plugin installations. The popular Shoutcast? internet audio broadcaster can be installed on the DSP system! It will give you the finest possible music listening pleasure. The CD-ROM Performance Tester - CDDA Benchmark Program measures your CD-ROM, DVD-ROM and system performances while playing audio CD`s through measuring Digital Audio Extraction (DAE). DAE is the method used to gather access to audio data in an audio disc. The faster and more problem-free your CD/DVD can read digital audio, the more reliable the program which makes use of DAE, will be. The program measures the speed of the DAE and the CPU usage during this operation. Many low end to middle performance computers are affected by DAE that it is almost impossible to perform other tasks on the computer during DAE operations. Also if the system`s CPU is slow, the quality of the digital audio can be adversely affected by `drop outs`. The Mp3 EducatorT is a tool to collect, organize and normalize your many Mp3 files. These files might originally have been recorded at different volume levels.The Mp3 EducatorT helps you to normalize the Mp3 files. This means that the volume of the MP3 files will be brought to the same peak level so there is no need to constantly change the soundcard mixer settings or player`s volume control when you want to listen to different MP3 files. The program can also helps you rename the files once they are re-encoded. Many people encode their Mp3 files from CD, Tapes, LP or other sources, using file names such as `Track01.mp3`, `Track02.mp3`, etc. If you have such files, and they have an ID3 tag that stores the album name, track title,performer etc., Mp3 EducatorT can use the ID3 tag information and rename the file the way you want it. It is an excellent utility to keep your Mp3 files in order and to play them without unnecessary interruptions! These Products will only work on Windows 95/95 and not on Windows 2000/ME |
